Hannah has requested that I post the recipe that I had talked about in my previous post, so here it is.

I am not sure where my mom got the recipe from, but she has been making it for as long as I can remember, and we love it. Even Deron loves it. It's great for the kids because it gets them to eat their peas!

Skillet Noodles & Peas
-----------------------
3 Tbsp. oil
1/4 C. margarine
8 oz. package fine noodles
1/2 C. chopped onion
1 C. evaporated milk
1 pkg. frozen pea (I do the peas & carrots mix too)
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 C. Seasoned broth (we use vegetable broth)
1 garlic clove, chopped

In a large skillet heat oil & margarine. Add noodles, onion & garlic. Cook over medium heat stirring until noodles are golden. Add broth, evaporated milk and peas. Cook covered, stirring occasionally until noodles are tender.

That's it! It's a pretty simple recipe, and it's really good.

A Neat Find

Today Liam & I went to Cost Plus World Market to get these noodles we use in a dish that my Mom used to always make for us. While we were there, we were browsing amongst the toys and came across this...


It is really cute. It is a serving tray that has lots of fruits and veggies that are already cut in half, but they are attached with Velcro. There is a little cutting board and a little knife (not sharp at all) and you use the knife and cutting board to cut the fruit apart. Liam loves it. Once he figured out what to do with it, he was laughing and cutting his fruit for about an hour. He even went into the Tupperware cupboard and pulled out a bowl to put all the fruit in. It is made out of wood, and is probably for 2 years+ but it was so cute and Liam loves anything that has to do with food and the kitchen! It was about $7.99, but I thought that was a reasonable price. It was such a great find!

Where Did He Learn That?????

So, yesterday when I went to pick up Liam from day care I could hear Grandma Rosie telling Liam to stop throwing toys, that he could hurt someone. So when I walked in, she proceeded to tell me about how he hit another boy today. He has been playing with the same kids for almost 5 months now, and there are two boys that are close in age to him and they are like the 3 Musketeers. Well, I guess he took a toy, a pretty large one, and was hitting one of the boys on the head with it. The other kid was screaming and Grandma Rosie ran in and saw Liam hitting him on the head. Needless to say, that was Liam's first time out. I am not sure where he learned this from, or if it is just part of growing older. After we got home yesterday he was mad about something, not even sure why he was so upset, and when I picked him up he got mad at me, and grabbed the back of my hair and yanked. I hope my child is not the only one that is having these outbursts. But it is just sad when the babysitter says, "he is my best kid, but today he was really bad." It just makes me wonder where he has learned this, or if it is just part of their nature.

Two More

It's official! Liam is getting both of his top 2 year molars in at the same time! We were wondering why he has been so crabby the last few days and we were finally able to see today. They looks pretty painful since they are bigger than his other teeth. Poor little guy. I can only imagine what it feels like!

The Prisco Wedding

Yesterday, two of our very dear friends, Mike & Leanne, got married. It was a great day. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so much fun. Deron and I were both in the wedding, so we were able to have some time together while Liam spent the day at Grandpa & Grandma McC's. The wedding was at Trinity Church, then the reception followed at Heritage Hall. I took as many pictures as I could, but being in the wedding made it a little difficult. Here is what I was able to get.

Double Fisting It!

Liam walked into our bedroom yesterday with two paci's in his mouth. He was so proud of himself and was really excited to take the picture!

Happy Easter!

We hope all of you had a blessed Easter! Unfortunately, Deron had to work today, so he didn't get to join in the festivities with us. When Liam woke up this morning, we gave him his Easter basket. He wasn't quite sure what to do with it... but he enjoyed the little toy cars that were inside.






Deron even got me a little something for easter, and of course it is my favorite!!!


We got ready and went to IHOP to have breakfast with my family before church.




After breakfast we went to church. It was a great service with really good music.

My parents got Liam some really cute things for his Easter basket. They got him a chicken basket that plays the chicken dance song, a leather jacket wearing bunny and some goodies.


Then we headed over to Deron's parents for some easter egg hunting and time with family. Liam was interested in looking for eggs for about 2 minutes. He was more interested in what he could get into around the backyard.







Grandpa and Grandma McCandless gave Liam some cool things in his basket too. He got a box of puzzles and a bear, along with some candy.
