Happy 3rd Anniversary to Us!

Today we are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. I know it's not many years, but it still doesn't seem like it has been 3 years since our wedding. We haven't had a date day or night for that fact, in a year. So, since Deron was off, I took a vacation day, and we sent Liam to the babysitters as normal so we could hang out together. We went to the movies and had lunch at the Gourmet Pizza Shoppe. We did some shopping at Cost Plus World Market, then came home for a nap. Liam woke us up at 4am this morning and we are exhausted. All in all, it was nice to spend some time together. Now we are off to pick up the little one!

Out of Sorts

Sorry for the lack of blogging, but we have had a busy, crazy week. Liam started cutting his 3rd 2-year molar last week, and it has definitely been the worst tooth yet. He has had a fever off and on since Thursday and has just been out of it. He won't eat much more than cereal and yogurt because he doesn't really have to chew it, and he says no to everything. Over the last few days he has been really clingy to me as well. Poor Deron is feeling a bit rejected, especially since we had kind of gotten past that stage already and Liam was starting to want to hang out more with Daddy. Tonight, all he wanted to do was lay on me. If Deron even came close, he would start crying and saying no. Needless to say, Daddy bath night is not going so well tonight. I think Liam cried for almost the entire bath. In addition to his fever and clingyness, Liam is having some crazy early morning rises. Friday morning he woke up at 3am ready to start the day. Today he woke up at 4am, had a bowl of cereal and went back to bed. These early mornings are really starting to have an effect on Deron and I. We are very tired. We can only hope that this will pass soon and Liam will get back to sleeping better and having a better attitude overall. He will not let us look in his mouth so we are not able to see if there are other teeth besides the one molar we have already seen, coming in. We will try to do a good Father's day post, and we hope that Liam is feeling better so he can wish his Dada a great father's day!

Build & Grow Clinic

Today after my test, I took Liam over to my work, Lowe's, so he could do the how-to-clinic for Father's Day. Today they were building a hole-in-one golf set. I did most of the building, but Liam seemed to have lots of fun. He is still a bit little, and he couldn't even reach the tables when he stood on the stool. So, he sat on the table and helped me hammer a few nails in.

I don't think that Daddy with be getting much use out of this new toy since Liam is the golf pro around here!

Another New Toy

Liam has an obsession with the stove and cooking. Everynight he has to sit right next to me on the counter while I cook. He likes to help me stir the pots and is always whispering "hot hot." Well, today I went to Lakeshore Learning Center and found some great stuff for him to play with. I found a stove that has light up burners that make noise when you put things on them. And, you can put food in the oven part and set the timer and a light comes on and cooks the food. I also got him a pot and pan set since he always needs to have a pot and a lid to play with. We got home at 550 today and he has been playing with it ever since. I would say that this was a great find! Here are some pictures of Liam playing with his new toy!

And because this picture is just too cute... something to make you smile!

My Crazy Son!

WoW! Liam is so full of energy these days, and he never stops talking. When I picked him up on Wednesday he was so talkative and he hasn't stopped yet! I think he added about 10 new words to his vocabulary over the last few days! Well, along with being full of energy, he is quite silly when I bring out the camera. Here are a couple of silly pics

This is Liam's new favorite thing to do. Go grocery shopping at Vons because they have the car carts that he can drive. He smiles at all the people, honks his horn, yells out the window and turns his little steering wheel.

Welcome Baby Whittenburg!

Yay! She's finally here. Rosa and Robbie welcomed their little girl into the world this morning! She was 7lbs 15.7oz and 19" long. She is precious and looks just like her daddy. She doesn't have a name yet, but I am sure Rosa & Robbie will pick out the best name for her. Rosa will be in the hospital for about 2 more days, but Robbie has taken lots of pictures and I am sure he will be wanting to share! In the mean time... here are two that I took today when I visited the family!

Cheese!
