Yay for a new cord!!!!

I finally got a new cord for my camera in the mail today. Now I can finally post some pictures that I have been holding onto. Let's see... Where to start!

Last Saturday, we had a Bridal Shower and a Bachelorette Party for my friend Leanne who is getting married this coming Saturday. Both events were lots of fun. We went to have dinner at the Yard House and we were there for almost 4 hours! The night was quite eventful!






About 2 weeks ago, we had Liam's cousin Aidan over. His mom went to a wedding, so we thought it would be a good time to get the cousin's together to play. The boys played all day. Here are some pictures from all their fun!






Liam has really grown over the past few weeks. He is walking and running all over the place. He has started to try to feed himself with a spoon, and he is starting to get better about eating different foods. Although veggies do not seem to be the foods that he is willing to try. He is really starting to have real conversations with us and even though he still talks giberish, we are able to understand what he says. He is really into being a "big boy" and likes to put Daddy's shoes on, and drink out of cups without lids on them, because that's what Mommy does. He likes to do things by himself first, and ask for help later (typical male), and seems to have a great arm on him when it comes to throwing. He loves the song "If all the raindrops" on the Barney cd, and when the part that goes "ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah" comes on, he sings right along with the song. His favorite thing to do is talk on the phone. Everything is a phone. He picks it up, says hi, a little giberish, and Bye!!! He had a conversation with Auntie Lisa last week, and talks frequently to Daddy when he calls. He is becoming such a little man. My baby is quickly fading. He does still like to cuddle with Momma. That is my favorite thing of everyday!





We have had a busy last few weeks, and are expecting this week to be busy as well. Deron has a bachelor party to attend on Wednesday and Friday and Saturday are guarenteed to be full of excitment. I will try to keep everyone posted with what is going on more often now that I have my cord for my camera!

Snack Ideas Anyone?

I am doing a project in which I have to come up with some cultural snack ideas for preschoolers. I have found quite a few, but was wondering if any of you out there have some healthy snacks that you make or have made for children that have a cultural flare! Any ideas are welcomed!

It's Been Awhile...

Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, but I figured since I still cannot upload pictures that it wasn't worth it. But I'm going to blog today anyways. Today is my sister Brittany's 15th birthday. I cannot believe it. It makes me feel so old. I remember her running around the house when she was one years old with her crazy hair like it was yesterday. She has grown so much. In fact, I think she is taller than me, well almost! We celebrated her birthday today at the Spaghetti Factory, YuM! Just think, in 6 months, she can get her drivers permit. Scary!

Let's see, what's new around her... Nothing to extreme. Yesterday I babysat Aidan and we all attended Rosa's birthday party. It was a lot of fun, and I got to see people from high school that I haven't seen in 9 or 10 years. It was nice to see them all again. After the party we came back here and Liam & Aidan played for 5 hours straight. They had lots of fun together.

Deron and I are just getting ready for the wedding that we are in coming up in about 3 weeks. There is a bridal shower and a bachelorette party this weekend that will keep me busy. On Thursday, I am getting my hair done for the first time in about 8 months! I cannot wait. I will try to post a picture.... but I still do not have a cord that works. I just cannot seem to remember to pick one up when I am out. I will try to get one soon so that my posts are not so boring! We hope everyone is doing well!

Sorry... No Pictures

I have been slacking on the blogs and pictures because... the other day I found Liam sucking on my cord that connects the camera to the computer, and well, now it doesn't work. So, until I get a new one, I won't have any pictures. Sorry.

As for the McCandless family... Liam seems to be changing his sleeping habits. For the better or worse, we can't really tell yet. Deron has been having to get up at 2am all week for work, and Liam seems to think that is the time he is supposed to get up too. Only problem, he won't go back to sleep and Mommy doesn't have to be up till 4:45am!

Liam is walking all over the place. A few weeks ago he just decided that he wanted to walk, and now he does it all over the place. He is so cute to watch. He is just this little man walking around the house.

Deron and I, mostly I right now, have been really busy with wedding stuff. Our good friends Mike & Leanne will be getting married next month and we are both in the wedding. This past weekend we had one of 2 bridal showers and I threw Leanne an Ooh La La party on Monday at the Melting Pot. It was so much fun, but a lot of work! We have one more bridal shower and a bachelorette party before the big day. And Deron has a tux to get fitted for and a bachelor party. Lots of things coming up for us in the next few weeks! Hopefully I can get some pictures up soon for you all!

Liam + Teething = AHHHH!!!!

Normally Liam has the same symptoms every time he is getting a new tooth. Runny nose, little cough, little fever, lots of drool and a little crankiness. Well, this time is another story. He's has a fever off and on for about 3 days, lots of poopy diapers, runny nose, lots of drool, doesn't want to eat anything other than baby food, and A LOT of crankiness. By the way he is chewing on things, it looks as though his 1st set of molars are coming in. He has 2 bumps on his bottom gums. He won't let us look, but he let me feel long enough to feel something back there. A plus! He slept last night from 530pm to 530am! If anyone has an remedies, please let me know!

Baby Boy Clothes Anyone???

I have been packing all of Liam's clothes that no longer fit him, and I have a couple of bags. Everyone I know that is pregnant right now, is having a girl. If anyone knows someone that is having a boy and would like some hammy-downs, please let me know!

Starting to Look A Lot Like Mommy!

Liam has definitely changed since he was born. I thought he looked so much like Deron when he was born, and I still think he does. But, lately everyone has been saying how much more like Mommy he looks. In other words, the Corydon is showing!
