random pics

I've taken a few random pictures of Liam, and just wanted to share them.

Liam has realized that when he has one of my hair ties, he can pull on them and they stretch. He also makes a noise when doing it.



Liam bumped his head pretty good lastnight on the stereo speaker. He had a nice goose egg on his eyebrow. Let me tell you, all that research that people have done on childrens reactions to the visual cliff... well, none of that applies to Liam.

My Boys

On Saturday, we had a family day. We went to eat at our favorite restaurant, Chevy's, then we went to Ontario Mills and bought some pants for the little guy. We had so much fun. Liam was as pleasant as could be, and he enjoyed being carried around by Daddy in the front pack. I think he is getting a little too big for that now though :) He also now fits into his glasses. When will it end???

Liam will NOT sleep through the night. He was doing great for a while, but apparently that was just a tease. He wakes up every morning between 3-4am, drinks a bottle, then he fakes going back to sleep. When I think he's asleep, I try to put him back in his crib, then he wakes up and starts crying. We play this game a couple times in the night until he really is asleep. Lastnight, he started to cry, but I decided to leave him alone, and he fell right asleep. Yeah! But how do I get him to stop this 3am stuff??? It is really starting to make me tired!

Attempt #4 at going to the gym..

... was a success! I was finally able to go to my step class tonight! I am exhausted, but I do feel a little energized. I thought that I was going to forget all the routines, but I didn't. I used to go about 2 times a week before I was pregnant, so tonight was the first time I have stepped in about 1 1/2 years! My face was sooooooo red. In fact, I think it still is. And I was feeling a little lethargic, but I made it through. I can feel the soreness setting in though. But, I cannot wait to go again. I think I just may be able to go next week too!

Spoons are OUT, hands are IN!

During breakfast this morning, I got the idea to try to let Liam feed himself. I knew it was going to be a little messy..... but he didn't even want to use the spoon. He scooped up some food and threw it on the floor. Then he dug his hands into the baby food and smeared it all around. Then he decided to eat his food straight from the bowl. He put the bowl up to his face and just licked it out. Only problem, his face kinda fits in the bowl, so it was all over his face as well. Oh well! I don't mind the mess, and he was having fun!

Halloween Costume Preview

We got Liam a lion costume at Target the other day. We wanted to get him a monkey, but the only one they had there didn't have any feet. It was just a sack, and Liam would have a fit. He cannot have his feet covered. So, we opted for the lion. It is a 2T-3T, so we were thinking it was going to be a little big. Not the case. It fits him perfectly! At first Liam was pulling at the mane, then he just rolled over and started dancing in it!

It's just a fact. Liam is the cutest baby in the world. I know... Mother's always say that about their children. But, Liam is very cute. And I am entitled to my own opinions right? :) He cracks me up now, because before when I would bring out a camera, he would turn into Stonewall Jackson. Now, he eats it up. Smiling all the time!
